Picasa 3.8 integrates with Picnik, offering films face

Online Image Editor from Google, Picasa, has been updated again. The new version of Picasa 3.8 is a small step towards an all-in-One Photo organizing and editing room. It contains an important new feature – integration with Picnik, an online application for editing photos.

But that’s not all. Other new features make it easier than ever to upload photos to Picasa Web Albums and collect the EXIF data of photos. Then there is the new film from the front “feature that, despite its strange name, it’s fun to use.

Integration with Picnik

Picnik, is an online image editing it since 2007, was bought by Google in March of this year. The folks at Google seem not much time as Picasa 3.8 ‘s biggest (at least in my opinion) is the ability to edit pictures with Picnik to lose.

It fits perfectly. If you find a photo in Picasa, you want to change, only the right mouse button and select “Edit in Picnik toolbar on the left side of the window of Picasa. This open Picasa Picnik itself. It is not necessary to edit a new account or save the photos and the photos on Picnik register, you can record directly on your hard drive, a process that only takes a few seconds.

Picnik in Picasa 3.8 has some overlap with the editing functions that are already in Picasa. The overlapping functions include crop and red eyes. The exhibition, colors and functions overlap a little clarity – their basic functionality is already in Picasa, but the version of Picnik seem to produce slightly different results in some photos.
New features include rotate, scale, and with one click AutoCorrect Picnik. Resize was possible, but only by an awkward process in which export an image.

Face Movies

Another interesting feature that was added in Picasa 3.8 is the addition of “Movies in the face.” The name explains the concept very well – a face film is a slide show that focuses on someone’s face. All photos will be displayed by that person and thus the face of the person at the center. Google describes oriented, like a good way to make a presentation for a birthday or a wedding, if you are in need (ie if you make us forget). Therefore, lazy, Listen Up!

First, identify the client Picasa, the person who wants to make a movie. You can do this by a photo album of his opening, then open the People tab by clicking on the icon of a person in the lower right corner to do. Name of the person whose face has been identified to create a Picasa album to appear in the section of the population in the Organization tab on the left of Picasa.
Open the album of the person and then click Create next film Facing fingerprint of the person’s face. Picasa creates create a movie automatically, but you can set transitions, add an audio track and make other minor amendments.

Other additions
