How to Join Google AdSense

Once your web site is ready you will have to register with Google AdSense. Click here to go to the Google Adsense web page.

Registration with AdSense is free, easy and simple. You will have to fill in the blanks providing basic inputs such as your complete name, full address where you would want your cheques delivered, contact number, email ID etc.

Most sites are either accepted or rejected within 24 to 48 hours, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long to find out if your application has been approved.

Once you’ve been accepted, simply copy and paste the provided HTML code in between the <body> Body of your website </body> tags into all pages of your website. This code shows up as Google ads. once your website is uploaded to your server. If you’ve done a good job of defining the content on your web pages, the ads that show should be relevant to the content of your page…increasing the chances of click-thrus by your visitors.

You can either display the ads vertically along side the page like Google does or in a banner-like formation horizontally across your pages. The placement is up to you. You can even customize the colors to match your site’s theme. Google allows you to place the ad code in four different places of your choice on each web page. Take advantage in placing it in prominant parts of your web pages.
