For most programmers, programming is not just a job or a hobby, it’s really a lifestyle. If a programmer is faced with a new gadget, the first thought is usually “how can I program it? Change Live programmer to hack and the behavior of their devices and that was to live, especially if it is mobile device, operate, and play every day.
Every new language is a learning process – is a process of learning commands, functions and structure of language, practice and application development. Here on the EMO, we covered some very good applications for learning programming skills, such as Alice and Scratch.
For developers who own Android phone, it is very trying experience, as each write an application that runs on the Android operating system can. These days there are few consumer applications for programmers and I will share with you four of them today.
Frink crazy
Frink is a programming language named after an eccentric scientist, John Frink, The Simpsons. The language was created by Alan Eliasen, to serve as an advanced method for performing calculations, including problems with the measures and dimensions in different ways. Alan is now offering a programming environment for Android Frink.
Visit the website for specific features that Android can be used in this application.
The first page you see is the editing environment, where you can write the script would try Frink. Fortunately, we have a set of sample scripts included, so if you’re new Frink, you can see how the language is structured. Click “Run” and a pop-up opens with the publication of your program.
Frink is fun with the script for the calculations and functions to play, and Alan has some features of Android, but not in a position to run on any screen using the advanced features of Frink. However, if your goal is to learn the programming language Frink in her spare time, the application for you.
Create iProgram your first Android application
One of my favorite applications on the Android programming is iProgram. Once you register for an account online, you can begin to create highly functional scripts that work like any other application on Android. There are great examples where you can be the foundation of the first application to make a piece of cake.
In this case, I used an example of an application that create the state created by my phone Wi-Fi and also displays a menu with two buttons.
If you install the application for the iPhone in the Android phone, you can synchronize all your scripts in line with the phone. From your phone you can see, the script and run it on your Android.
This is my first written use in iProgram.
This application was put together just 15 minutes. Some examples show other fun things you can do – all you need to do is to refine and combine different functions in the code to adapt to your needs. Why search for the perfect application if you can write your own?
Learn programming concepts AndroMaze
Future applications would be covered are children for programming. The first is called AndroMaze a blast to play, especially if you like the idea of programming robots with a sequence of functions, then let the robot by the commands. With AndroMaze, everything is customizable to see including her own labyrinth, as here.
Each “level” in the game is an open space, the walls and blocks, or “objective” your little bot droid is presumed to exercise. The goal is to make the robot program to work through the maze and collect any destination. The controls are straight, right or left.
Although simple in concept, is really an excellent game to teach young students the concept of programming logic and sequential subroutines. The program will be adjusted by dragging the icons of the “Prog” field and click “Run.”
Watch your little robot will follow every command. You can even sub-programs the robot to repeat – what could be better to teach young developers to create techniques for all!
The practice of programming with Android Logo
Another application of the ideal program for all, learning the concepts of programming called Android logo on the Android Market. Logo is a programming language in 1967 as an educational tool, but for those who know turtle graphics, this application is a good way to learn how to create graphics to cool scripts.
If you are not familiar with Logo or turtle graphics, select the Wikipedia page for some examples and references.
Enter your code in the logo box at the bottom of the screen and click on “Run” you will see the active program running on the panel “Design”.
This small application is very addictive – you find yourself looking for ways to create complex patterns and interesting designs. It is actually very Zen after a while.
Have you ever played with a new programming on the Android? Share some of your favorites or to give information about these applications in the comments below Android.
