New rumors about news that Apple had decided to introduce the second generation nell’iPad. There is talk of a reduction in the thickness of the frame surrounding the screen, a new design for the rear of the chassis and a more powerful speaker and protected by a metal grid. The rumor, reported by Japanese blog Octakara Mac , have been relaunched by AppleInsider.

The size of the so-called iPad 2 should be slightly lower than the current model in circulation on the market. Merit, it seems, the reduction that affects the framework within which is embedded screen tablet from Apple. The Cupertino company would save 3 mm per side. Meanwhile, Elliptic Labs has announced plans to present to the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 a technology called Touchless Ultrasonic Input.

A La Vegas, the company spun-off from the University of Oslo, will show a prototype user interface touchless applied to the tablet and a docking station for iPad that allow you to interact with the tablet without touching the display.
