Venues Facebook is the latest check-in services, yesterday announced the internet giants.

It comes on the heels of the Foursquare Gowalla and two of the most important platforms has teamed up with Facebook.

Early reviews of the new feature highlighted commonalities and differences significantly Foursquare (in the old count, the logo of Facebook, literally, the fourth in a square).
